This beautiful violin is labeled inside "copy of Antonius Stradivarius Faciebat Cremona 1713 West Germany". I believe it to be made between 1913 and 1920. It shows the great craftsmanship of German violin makers of that era. It has a lovely spruce top with two-piece maple back and ribs. This violin has the original finish. I professionally repaired one small crack in the finish under the chin rest as shown in the photos. It is setup with steel core strings that give it a loud projection and it holds a tune well. If you would like to hear this violin played, message me your cell number and I will send a short video. This violin comes foam packed in a student quality case with bow, rosin and cleaning cloth. This violin has been stored in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
