AMEK Pure Path "Driver in Box" by Rupert Neve.

This is a rare gem from Rupert Neve that can be the heart of a high end summing system and much more.

These are basically a modernized implementation of the 1272 in a one space 8 channel format. Carnhill input and output transformers for every channel. Level, Phase, Mute and the first instance of the "Silk" feature and lit buttons on each channel.

Designed with many uses, but as configured for summing is an incredible bank of 8 amplifiers with selectable modes of gain.

It can be used to "warm up" any source, or to created balanced lines for long leads or for unbalanced inserts in a console. Someone told me you can modify it to be an 8 channel mic pre, but I'm not tech enough to confirm that.

Unity gain, +12 or MIX MODE which sets it up to be the summing and output stage for any passive mixing circuit.

I use these for summing and they sound amazing.

Simple resistor network like the SB2 Summing Network from DIYrecordingequipment.com will turn this into a summing mixer very similar to (better IMHO) than the current Rupert Neve and AMS Neve offerings.

I bought a bunch of these for a very big summing system, but don't need that many channels so selling some of them off. If you want 2 or 3 more then let me know.

Recently serviced just to replace the fan which had gotten noisy.

Condition is used with usual scratches typical of rack gear.

Sold as is due to age.
