Up for sale is a 1979 Peavey T-60 with original case.
Electronics are all working and original. No dead frets, but some fret wear being that the guitar is 47 years old.
The early model T-60's such as this one feature Gotoh tuners instead of the Peavey branded one, and they work very well.
The body has various little dents and markings on it, but nothing major. The neck has a nice played in feel and also has some wear and tear along it, but once again its nothing that makes the guitar feel damaged. Ive done my best to capture the guitar in natural lighting to show it off as best as possible.
Action is very low and the neck is nice and straight. Plenty of life in the truss rod. This guitar currently has 12 - 54 gague strings on it and is playing in E standard tuning. Its been previously strung with everything from 9's to 12's and the neck requires very minimal adjustment to accommodate your setup. Very solid and stable neck on this guitar.
Super versatile sounds. Can go from Telecaster twang to warm Les Paul style tones. Makes a great guitar for anything from country to super low tuned doom metal.
Thanks for looking!
