The top on this instrument is absolutely gorgeous, with deep, symmetrical flame figuring that runs consistently across the entire maple cap. Condition:

Excellent overall condition for a 25-year-old instrument. The finish remains vibrant with only light signs of normal use. The frets have plenty of life remaining, the neck is straight, and the electronics function exactly as they should.

There is a small nick at the 5th frets (see pic) and some very light buckle rash on the back that can't be captured on a photo. It's about 2 inches by 1 inch, and is not deep.

The guitar plays effortlessly and delivers everything the McCarty model is known for—warm, articulate cleans, rich midrange, exceptional sustain, and classic vintage-inspired humbucker tones.
