Up for grabs is ONE SET new in packaging (old stock) DR CBE-9 (9-42) COOL BLUE electric guitar strings (9, 11, 16, 24,32, 42). "The High Performance Coating." Advanced coating for EXTRA-Life and Protection.

In case you dont already know -- the COOL BLUE Series has been DISCONTINUED by DR.

These DR string are blue color because of the coating.

A few disclaimers -

• I've never used the COOL BLUE series DR strings. Therefore - I don't know how they feel when played on.
• Not sure if the blue color will fade off, how it fades off (if it does fade ofd), or how long the coating lasts.
• Since High E electric guitar strings are generally THIN & kind of DELICATE -- I'm including two new NOT DR (NON Coated, NON Blue color) individual gauge 9 high E strings: ONE Elixir Plain Steel and ONE D'Addario Nickel Plated Steel.
• Each of these extra NOT DR (NON Coated, NON Blue color) gauge 9 high E is $1. So if you do not want one of both strings - please make and offer with a message.

The strings are fine. They are made the way that DR makes them. In the description above - I commented about my concern about the High E string. Here's that info again:

• Since High E electric guitar strings are generally THIN & kind of DELICATE -- I'm including two new NOT DR (NON Coated, NON Blue color) individual gauge 9 strings: ONE Elixir Plain Steel and ONE D'Addario Nickel Plated Steel.

The paper packing (the sleeves) are fine - just some creases & a few short folds (which is normal).

The outer areas of the packaging have some shelf and handling wear - slightly pushed in, minor wear / fading on the corner, a few very short & short creases here & there, and a few small round impressions.

The label on the lower area of the left side is lifting up around the edges and it has some visibe - but in general - not too serious wear (short creases, very short bends, some curves).

NOTE: Pictures # 15 to # 24 were taken in a lower light to better show the imperfections on the outer areas of the packaging. That's why the color of the packaging looks duller in these pictures.

I took several pictures of this item.  Feel free to ask for more pictures.

There may be a few imperfections that I overlooked.   There are some imperfections (on the puter packaging) that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures.  Also  - there are some imperfections (glares, dust / lint specks) that show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person.
