Vintage Korg Polysix in very good cosmetic condition, being sold as-is due to a tuning/voice calibration issue.

The synth powers up and otherwise appears to function normally: keys, controls, patches, modulation, filter, envelopes, effects, and general operation all work. The issue is that the voices do not tune/calibrate correctly, so it will require further diagnosis and likely service by someone familiar with the Polysix.

This unit has also been upgraded with the KiwiSix MIDI upgrade and an upgraded power supply, adding useful modern functionality and addressing two of the more desirable areas to update on an original Polysix. Replaced with new wood case in January 2025.

I have spent some time troubleshooting the tuning problem but have not identified the root cause, so I do not want to represent this as a simple calibration adjustment. Please assume that professional repair may be required.

Cosmetically, the instrument is in very good condition for its age and presents well. This could be a good opportunity for a technician, experienced DIY owner, or someone looking for a clean, upgraded Polysix project rather than a heavily damaged or non-functioning unit.

Sold as-is, with the tuning issue fully disclosed, and priced accordingly.
