This is a tough one to part with. I have wanted a Ric since I saw Geddy Lee play one in 1978. This satin Autumnglo is an absolute beauty, and the checkerboard binding blows me away. This generation of 4003 finally added all the features I wanted: a thin neck that plays so easily, a single truss rod that makes setup simple, and an updated V2 bridge. Sadly, it is just not the guitar I reach for. It deserves to be played and not hang on my wall.
It is 100% original with no modifications, except for the D'Addario NYXL 50105 strings. It was professionally set up by Third Coast Guitar Repair in Chicago and comes with the original hard-shell case. Serial N° 2318798 (guitar made in week 18 of 2023).
