Up for sale is an Oscar Schmidt OS21C 21-Chord Acoustic Autoharp in a beautiful Tobacco Sunburst finish. This instrument is being sold as a restoration/project autoharp and is ideal for someone looking to repair, restore, or use it for parts.

While the instrument remains visually attractive and the body presents well, it is currently not playable and will require repairs and replacement parts before it can be returned to service.

Condition

Used – Good Cosmetic Condition / Repair Project

This autoharp shows good overall cosmetic condition with normal signs of use and handling. The finish remains attractive and the body appears structurally sound; however, the instrument is missing critical components.

Missing Components

Compared to a complete OS21C, this autoharp is missing:

• All strings
• Multiple chord button caps/buttons from the chord bar assembly
• Additional hardware/components associated with the chord mechanism
• Various parts necessary for full operation

The attached comparison photo of a complete OS21C illustrates the button assembly that would normally be present. Several of those button components are absent on this instrument.

Because of these missing parts, the autoharp will require:

• Complete restringing
• Chord bar/button replacement and repair
• Setup and adjustment
• General inspection prior to use
