Up for sale, a wonderful G-Piccolo Trumpet from the heyday of the Selmer shop, ~1975 Vintage. This horn has a great pedigree and even better sound and playability. I'm only selling as circumstances are forcing me to sell off much of my gear. It is a wonderful alternative to A-Piccolo with just as easy high register, and an even clearer, richer sound, but I've also used it as a 'cheater' horn, as things like Pulcinella and the Ravel Piano Concerto sit amazingly well on this horn - with a bigger mouthpiece, you can not only fool the conductor but also your colleagues in front of you!
Silver could use a polish, but there are no dents, dings, or damage. The valves show some wear from 50 years of use (and likely from sitting in the case for years before I got my hands on it), however the compression is excellent - each slide has a loud POP when pulled, and it responds excellently with Yamaha REGULAR synthetic valve oil. This is a "G/F" four-valve piccolo with the 4th valve giving you an extra whole-step to get down to Concert C and B.
