⚡️1968 Fender Bassman Drip Edge - AB165 Silverface. Made in USA, 50W⚡️ A legendary amp that remains essential today, the Fender Bassman comes in many versions.
This is the 50W, two-channel model from the Drip Edge era, featuring the AB165 circuit. This was a transitional period for Fender. Technicians continued to produce the circuits for the Bassman Blackface, with Blue Molded tubes, and the new chrome line of the SilverFaces.
Make no mistake, this is indeed a Blackface circuit with very clear, dynamic tones, favoring a powerful clean sound, less loaded with gain than the SilverFaces that followed.
A reference amp for electric guitar, it also performs very well as a bass amp head, and its 50W provides ample power for band use.
This is an American version, so it operates on 110V and will require a 110V/230V converter.

It has just undergone a complete overhaul and is therefore in perfect working order. It is safe to use, has had its filter capacitors replaced, and has tested and found its tubes to be in excellent condition.
Information and testing available upon request.
Note: The rear panel is missing, but the overall condition is very good.
