The Sonor Designer Series is widely regarded as one of the finest drum lines ever produced by Sonor, representing the company's flagship German craftsmanship during the late 1990s and early 2000s. This 14x7 Designer Series snare features Sonor's Maple Light Shell construction, delivering exceptional sensitivity, articulation, projection, and warmth while maintaining outstanding dynamic range.

Finished in a stunning high-gloss Scandinavian Birch veneer, this drum showcases the premium build quality and attention to detail that made the Designer Series legendary among professional drummers and collectors. The shell is fitted with Sonor's signature lugs, heavy-duty hardware, precision bearing edges, and high-quality throw-off system.

This example is in excellent condition with only light signs of use. The beautiful outer veneer remains highly presentable with no major damage visible. Chrome hardware is clean throughout, and the drum is fitted with an Aquarian batter head and Remo Ambassador snare-side head. The original Sonor snare wires are installed and functioning properly.

The 7" shell depth provides a versatile voice capable of delivering articulate ghost notes, fat backbeats, and impressive projection, making it equally at home in studio, live, rock, fusion, gospel, or orchestral applications.
