In excellent condition and beautifully set-up, this Grand Symphony Taylor 516e is a do-it-all guitar. It's responsive enough for an intimate fingerstyle, but has the horsepower in waiting should you want to get loud.
The Taylor website described this limited edition acoustic as a dynamic, articulate and loud guitar. I can’t argue with this at all, in fact, they left out, “Piano-Like”! This thing sounds amazing, and it’s no wonder why; it has some good old Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides, coupled with a Sitka spruce top. We’ve known how good Tassie Blackwood is for many years thanks to our local geniuses, Maton and Cole Clark. This beautiful guitar projects a fantastic piano-like tone that sparkles in the tops, punches in the mids and pumps in the bottom end; it’s just a great guitar!
The fit and finish is perfect and this one offers the rare “arm-rest” version which was a custom order at a mere $1000 extra! The arm rest is something that I didn’t give a second look at but when I was playing it, it really felt comfortable under the wing. Only 50 of these beauties were made, so that, in this day and age, is a real limited edition. Comes with its original hard shell case.
