1950s Gretsch Broadkaster “Name Band” Snare Drum
14" × 5.5" — Midnight Blue Finish

A classic Gretsch Broadkaster Name Band snare drum from the 1950s, finished in its original Midnight Blue wrap and presented with beautiful vintage character.

This drum features a 3-ply shell, the correct round badge, and period-correct 1950s double-flange “stick-chopper” hoops. It is equipped with Gretsch’s iconic Micro-Sensitive throw-off and the original 5381 butt assembly, delivering the crisp response and sensitivity that define the Broadkaster legacy.

The snare remains largely all-original, with the exception of PureSound snare wires and Remo and Evans heads, chosen for reliability and optimal performance. Light cosmetic pitting is present on some lugs and hoops, consistent with age, and does not affect sound, function, or structural integrity.

The drum has been carefully stripped and thoroughly cleaned, preserving its vintage patina while ensuring it is fully playable and ready for use.

It will be professionally packed and shipped worldwide from Portugal.
