Vintage 1950s Slingerland No 157 Student Model 7 x 14" Snare Drum in Mahogany

Get that warm, fat, woody backbeat with this beautiful Slingerland snare drum. It's got a thin 3-ply mahogany/poplar/mahogany shell with maple reinforcement rings and rounded bearing edges. The hardware is nickel with nickel over brass hoops for a little extra resonance.
CONDITION NOTES
- Very good shell; no extra holes, scratches as shown, in round, shell cleaned and polished with lemon oil
- Very good hardware; all original down to the tension rods, nickel plated, lubricated strainer and greased tension rods
- Very good heads and snares; used Remo and Ludwig heads and original snare wires with a bend in one wire
