These are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find in the three-input model.
I chose "fair" condition, to be in accordance with Reverb guidelines, but I'm certain that once one tube is properly (and carefully) extracted and replaced, condition will be very good. This is an older unit, and it is still holding its aesthetic and operational value. Medical bills, and a recent move forcing sale.
The thing sounded great.. Warm, with headroom, and warm with the perfect grittiness. However, there is a problem.. I bumped one of the 12ax7 tubes, and then I checked it to make sure it was still snug in the socket, and the tube glass broke. (It may have already been cracked or was ready to break) Anyway, the tube needs to be safely removed from the socket and a new 12ax7 needs to be installed.
Speaker was replaced, pretty sure it's an Eminence Cannabis Rex. It sounds flippin' great, whatever is in there, and I'm 95% sure its the Eminence C.R.
I've recently moved and I'm having trouble fitting the amp in to my studio layout. Selling as-is. 500 bucks is very fair for this vintage unit, especially in the three-input versions, which, again, is very hard to find. The same amplifier just sold today listed "for parts or not working" on an auction site for nearly $500, when you include the shipping cost.
The only other thing I can think of is that the person from whom I acquired the amp stated that he thought there was a hum (maybe he said buzz, but I think it was hum) of some kind.
I never heard it. Played it for a few days, the amp sounded great. Perhaps I just wasn't hearing what he was hearing, but I do have a pretty sharp ear.
Anyhow, selling it as is, in need of repair. I know of no reason it shouldn't power up and operate after the tube is replaced, but I'm afraid I can't guarantee it.
If you're not familiar with the amp, the three inputs graduate in wattage (I believe that's how how it works) Input one would have the most headroom, breaking-up at a different volume level than input two, and input three would be the grittiest, I think. It could be the reverse order, but you get the idea. I didn't have much time to play the darn thing before I bumped, and then broke the tube, so I don't recall that specific detail about the input jacks. I do know the amp sounded SO warm and had SUCH a great gritty tone, that I was in love with the darn thing. Have medical bills, limited space in studio, rent, ect so selling at a fair price.
Sorry, local pick up only, meet in public place, daylight hours.
