Ampex MX-10
For sale is a rare vintage Ampex MX10 / MX35 4-channel mic / line preamp tube mixer. Catalog No 96900-01, Serial # 1402. The MX10 and MX35 are essential the same, just slight cosmetic design differences from different periods of Ampex builds. It's tested and fully functional. There is some wear as expected for its age. This unit does have the original capacitors. While not necessary, and due to the age on the caps, it's generally recommended for reliability to have the unit recapped. We can have it recapped for additional costs. Please note that this unit still has an old-style oval 2-pin power connector. We do not have a spare power cable for it to include, it is currently sold without a power cable. We can convert the rear to standard IEC connector for additional $175 cost, please contact us if you'd like to add on this modification or a recap.
