2002 Gibson ES-135 with 57 Classic Humbuckers.  One owner, it was played pretty infrequently over the past 23 years and the guitar’s condition reflects that.  Cosmetically, it’s in better condition than many new guitars hanging on the rack at Guitar Center.  I was hard pressed to find any notable dings or scratches, the minor cosmetic observations are noted in the photos:

-small ding on the lower bout

-small ding on the lower headstock

-light surface scratches on pickguard

-minor finish checking on the back of the neck joining the body (this is cosmetic, not structural)

-some pitting on the trapeze tailpiece and end pin

The neck is straight and frets have plenty of life, the pots and selector switch are clean with no noise or scratchiness

The pickups sound great, tonally it sits somewhere between a semi-hollow ES-335 and fully hollow ES-175, with more acoustic resonance and midrange than a 335.  Extremely versatile, it can cover a lot of genre’s – famous users include Bill Joe Armstrong of Green Day and Izzy Stradlin of Guns and Roses.

Unplugged it’s almost as loud as an acoustic guitar, making it an ideal ‘couch’ guitar.
