Vintage 1970s short-scale bass, 30.5" scale (same as a gibson EB-0). Likely made in Japan, but who knows for sure.
Sounds good, plays well. Lots of wear but no breaks or damages.
Both pickups sound very good with strong output. All controls work. These DO have a bridge ground wire and it is connected. The tone control is unusual in that it is full treble in the middle and then darkens on either end.
Tuners are smooth and stable; neck is straight, or at least as straight as it was when it left the factory. Truss rod works with plenty of room left to tighten if/when necessary.
Intonation is good on A/D/G strings. E string gets a bit sharp; this could be improved by experimenting with the gauge of that string.
New(ish) round wounds.
Ashtrays are missing, standard J ashtrays will fit if you drill new holes.
No case.
As-is sale, final sale, will be very well packed in a new box.
