18" single layer Drum Bunny cloth drum cover - dampener - partial mute - compare to Drum Tortillas - Quesadilla - Big Fat Snare

Get more variety out of your 18" tom or 18" snare with this easy-on and easy-off solution for partial muting. This Bunny is made of single layer of premium 100% cotton, hand-dyed. It has a nice bounce on the drum which produces light muting and slightly more sustain than a BFSD Quesadilla.

I have more of this fabric and can make all the sizes. This "gradient" pattern is also available in blue, yellow/brown/orange, charcoal, lavender, brown/black/orange and green.

This type of fabric is really sweet, one of my favorites for the lightest muting and lowering pitch without choking the drum. You still get some sustain with this one. Also, this particular fabric looks substantially the same on front and back, so you don't have to think about a "top" or a "bottom" when using it --- just throw it on your drum and start playing! My single-layer Bunnies do several things to the tone:

1) lower pitch of the drum approx 1/2 step

2) increase attack

3) give that "70's sound"

4) give a little practice pad feel

5) lower volume (less than the double-sided ones)

6) remove some overtones.

I make each of my Drum Bunnies individually with lots of love and attention. There is a protective stitch on the outside that prevents the fabric from fraying.

Each bunny comes with a hang loop, which has multiple functions.
