Used but in excellent condition. Features a 10 tube lug layout, 2.5mm chrome plated triple flange brass hoops, Taye's patented SideLatch throwoff system, and a 2 mm brass shell with a patina finish. No missing or broken pieces, no bent tension rods or hoops, and the bearing edges are flawless and have no dings or dents.
These drums are rare and discontinued, and go head-to-head with the even more rare and discontinued (and also very expensive) Yamaha Mike Bordin signature snare drum. This drum is significantly heavier than your standard 1mm thick brass shelled snare drums, and as a result produces a thicker and fuller sound while also retaining all the characteristics people enjoy about brass snare drums such providing a dark, rich, and full-bodied sound with enhanced low-end frequencies, while also offering high-end sensitivity and a distinctive crack compared to other metal shell snare drums. Whether you play it lightly or hard it'll do exactly what you need it to.
