REALLY cool RG550DY....i bought this guitar for sentimental reasons as the late 80's RG550 was my very first GOOD guitar; turns out, i'm just not an RG guy anymore, sadly. As you can see from the pics, i have put a significant amount of works into this guitar! what's been done: new pickups: Duncan Dimebucker at the bridge; Dimarzio injector in the middle position; Duncan '59 in the neck. i also installed a 5 way super switch with 2 push-pull pots to get a ton of different sounds. I also installed a custom made tone bleed circuit and a SoZo 0.022nf mustard cap. All of the covers, including the truss rod cover, have been replaced by transparent covers(obviously); I do still have the black covers that will be included with the guitar.

the guitar is in great shape, plays like butter, and would probably qualify as "Excellent" condition but i felt more comfortable listing it as very good. Guitar has zero cracks at neck pocket, like most RGs get. Frets have been leveled and polish.

Stock black covers, tremolo bar, guitar strap, and decent shape ibanez hard case will come with the guitar.
