Here is a very nice old mid 1990’s Cherry Red Gibson ES 335 Dot. It’s fully original just as it came out of Gibson’s Nashville factory back in 1996. Some lovely subtle vintage ageing all over the plastics with the white binding turning yellow and the metal hardware nicely tarnished. Neck is dead straight truss rod checked and functioning fine, plenty of life left in the frets, which still have their nibs. It has a very dark and dense rosewood fingerboard. The original humbuckers sound fantastic. Factory fitted grovers have taken on a dull grey patina and working fine, stays in tune for days. There have been no modifications, breaks or repairs. Plays and sounds great, super resonant unplugged with a great action. Has a comfortable 1960 profile neck. Nicely balanced & weighs in at 4.18kg on our postal scales. Nothing harsh has happened to it, just gentle playwear Sith some light bumps and scuffs, all commensurate with age. It is complete with its original tan, pink-lined Gibson hardcase still with silk shroud. Case is functioning fine, latches dulled over the years with combi lock working.
