This is cleanest vintage guitars I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing.
It’s a vintage Epiphone ET-275, made in Japan by Matsumoku in the early 1970s.
I purchased this guitar last year and I think it had been just sitting around in its original case for 25+ years. While it was complete and in good cosmetic condition, it needed a proper setup to bring it back to life. It has since been professionally serviced with a new nut and a full setup. The neck and action are now perfect and it plays exceptionally well! I have also recently added a tremolo arm to it.
Everything functions exactly as it should. The original humbuckers have a clear, articulate vintage voice that sits somewhere between a traditional PAF and the brighter Japanese pickups of the era. The offset body, four-knob control layout, and original vibrato give it a perfect vintage look and feel.
