Excellent 1963 Masaru Kohno classical guitar, spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides.

Scale: 650 mm, nut: 52 mm, weight: 3lb 12oz., action: 3/3.25 mm at 12th.

Condition: solid sound board, no cracks. Back had a long crack caused by dryness (no trauma), it's been professionally repaired and cleated. The finish is lacquer, the back was French polished after the repair.

It has a new set of non-standard machine heads and is fitted with Rosette diamond string ties to maintain ideal string break angle. Comes with non original used high quality hard case.

Most buyers will be familiar with Kohno, without a doubt one of the best luthiers Japan has produced, his work and history of his success. Therefore I feel no need for a long description. Included is a sound sample made on a laptop computer with non professional equipment. I am neither a musician nor a proficient guitar player, unfortunately.

Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
