2017 Washburn C80S Madrid. Solid Cedar Top & Rosewood.

2017 Washburn Model C80S Classical. Serial # FC170414756. Sometimes called the Madrid model. Guitar plays excellent and has warm sound that is also very resonate. Solid Cedar top over Rosewood sides and back. Very well made. Full multi-ply bindings with Yellow accents. Standard 2" nut with 25.5" playscale. 18 frets with 19th extension all smooth on the ends with zero wear. New set of D'Addario Pro-Arte strings. Low action 2.75mm at the 12th fret and still has all of it's adjustment left on the bridge saddle. Easy set ups as this one has a truss rod never touched. This is a very, very nice classical guitar for the money. Very little play time until I purchased. The guitar was dropped. I tripped over the dog and the guitar made a half flip and landed bottom up. Though it was on carpet the result was a hairline crack on the backside of the neck on each side of the nut about 3 and 4" . See last 4 pictures and follow crack from corner of nut. Luthier repaired. The crack had only 1 to 1.5mm depth in spots. Injected with tightbond and cured has held perfect for last 4 years. Action stays unchanged and holds tune. Once you brake the new strings in. I can feel the seam with my thumb when playing. Luthier offered a secondary service of pinning, sanding and refinish for a flawless finish that I never got back to. Still looks great, plays great and sounds great. Goggle the model and read about them. Perfect for all skill levels. Happy to answer any questions or send more pictures.
