Up for sale is a Bay State Parlor Acoustic guitar made sometime between 1890 and 1910. These were made in Boston, Massachusetts and were an early rival builder to Martin Acoustics.
Made from Brazilian Rosewood and is still in excellent shape for its age. It was recently repaired and setup by a master luthier who reset all the internal bracing and set the bridge piece for perfect string height throughout the neck. There is no buzzing on any of the frets and it both plays and sounds absolutley beautiful. Also has nearly zero cracks throughout. There are 2 very minor cracks that I highlighted in the photos. One is on the side of the body but is so thin it is almost unnoticable. The 2nd is along back piece where the bridge meets the body, but that crack appears to have been professionally glued and shut to where it is also nearly unnoticable.
Comes with a tight fitting hard case for safe shipment. Please feel free to message me with any questions about the guitar or if you would like a more custom ship quote.
Thanks!
