- Binaural Mode (OS 2.0+): This mode creates a true stereo image by panning individual voices hard left and right. It acts as a "double" mode, utilizing 4 voices per side for a lush, wide, and thick sound, reducing the overall polyphony to 4 voices.
- Panning Modes: The OB-X8 allows users to set panning via Page 2 parameters. A common setting for wide sound is Pan Mode="4L4R".
- Stereo Output Settings: Within the global menu, the output can be set to Stereo, Mono, or Auto.
- Split/Double Panning: When using Split or Double mode, you can pan the upper and lower engines independently to create a wide stereo field
