For sale is a beautiful 1997 Gibson SJ-200 in Natural Gloss finish. Built in Gibson’s Bozeman, Montana Facility, this “King of the Flat-Tops” features a solid spruce top paired with stunning highly figured maple back, sides, and maple neck.
This guitar is in excellent condition for its age and has been well cared for. It plays comfortably up and down the neck with strong projection, rich bass response, and the unmistakable SJ-200 shimmer and clarity.

- Nut & Saddle -Genuine Bone. Bone is highly valued by Gibson for acoustic instruments as it provides superior sustain, tonal clarity, and durability
- Gibson Factory Strap Button -installed on Treble (lower) Side of the Heel of Neck by an Authorized Gibson Repairman. It’s installed where Gibson HIGHLY recommends for it to be installed in order to prevent when installing it does not cause the wood of the heel of the neck from cracking or splitting
- Electronics -Fishman Matrix II Non-Passive (9 volt battery required) under-saddle pickup system
- Pickguard -Custom Elvis Presley-Inspired pickguard (Gibson Original Design Replacement Pickguard can be purchased at or this link to specific original replacement Pickguard that meets Gibson’s specs: and have replaced if the buyer chooses Cost is $24.95

The guitar shows only light signs of normal wear that is consistent with a well-maintained vintage instrument. The Fishman Matrix II Non-Passive electronics function properly and the guitar is ready for stage or studio use.
