Purchased brand new in 1985, only owner, this is a rare Custom Graphic Artist Signature model single pickup shredder. I put an EMG 81 in 1990 an added a tone knob. ( i do not have the original pickup) That is an original black chrome Floyd Rose . About 10 years ago the bar was replaced with a pop in style because it wouldn’t tighten firm anymore. ( no original floyd parts available) it will hang loosely still and i do have all the original parts and bar if you want to put it back to stock . It Originally had the banana headstock but i wasn‘t a fan and had it replaced in 1987 with this cooler one.
Since it was my main touring guitar there are lots of scratches, dings, gouges ( all pictured). It might be battle worn as hell but it plays great, neck thin and fast. Its amazing art work is still incredible to this day. It truly is a sick ass looking guitar, the lines painted on water are reflections of the strings . I do not have the original pickup or back plate but it does come with its original case . I put a new battery in it and played it for a bit, the electronics work fine , volume and tone knobs work as they should, still plays amazing . It will definitely need a new setup and intonation since it’s basically been in its case for 20 + years now. . Serious offers only as this is probably one of the only ones of these still around. I saw one with 2 pickups but never another single pickup version, these were individually painted making this guitar a one of a kind . A great example of quality American guitar craftsmanship . Thanks for your time
