Up for sale from my personal collection is the Paiste Sound Creation 22" Bell Ride or Sound Creation 22" Dark Ride shown in the photos. Serial number starts with a 9, so this ride was crafted in Switzerland in 1979 from the Formula 602 alloy.

I own a collection of SCDRs from 1976-1979 and here is what my assessment is:
The hammering and lathing techniques look like SCDR.
This sound is near identical to a SCDR from that year.
The bell is ever so slightly larger in diameter than my SCDRs.
Doing forensics of the pale ghost of ink remaining from model designation looks to my eyes like "BELL RIDE" but I'll let you be the final judge of that (examine the last two photos).

My scale measures the weight at 3654 g.

Overall condition is between very good to excellent.

Centerhole shows a tiny amount of wear (see photos).

Edge is quite smooth, but for those collectors demanding a forensic audit, we can say there is a sub-millimeter minuscule roughness in a spot, but I am being super critical. Nothing that I would remotely consider a chip or a fleabite or a ding.

Lays flat. No funny business or issues.

There are surface oxidation and patina variations as well as stick marks.

Some fine hair scratches near the hollow logo Paiste ink on the underside (see photos).

I took photos under several different lighting conditions and from different angles. What you see in the photos reflects reality.
