This McPherson MG 4.5 is an early-production model that showcases the exceptional craftsmanship, tone, and innovation that have made McPherson guitars highly respected among discerning players and collectors.

This guitar is in very good condition and was previously owned by Mike Helton, former President of NASCAR. The instrument was primarily kept and played at his home in Georgia and has reportedly been enjoyed by notable country music artists, including Brad Paisley.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows normal signs of careful use, including a few minor surface dings and light scratches. The bridge has lifted slightly over time (please refer to the photos for details). There is no significant fret wear, and the guitar plays and sounds exactly as you would expect from a quality McPherson instrument.
