This is a great recreation of the classic 1957 Stratocaster! This example was made in Japan in the Fujigen factory in 1994. It features a slimmer D shape neck, starting at just 0.79" thick at the first fret and thickening up to 0.89 at the 12th fret. The factory-equipped Fender USA Vintage pickups sound fantastic, delivering all the classic 50s Strat tones. The tonewoods include a basswood body and maple neck.

The control layout stays true to the original 50s spec, with a master volume, middle tone, and neck tone knobs. The switch is a 3-way. 

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years such as wear in the fingerboard, and various scratches / dings throughout. There is a finish-only crack on the back above the backplate as shown. The evidence the string tree was moved up, with the old hole remaining on the headstock as shown. The hardware shows patina consistent with age. The frets play great with plenty of life left, exhibiting only normal light play wear. The electronics work as they should.

The Tokai tuners are replacements, otherwise this guitar is original. 

This guitar comes freshly set up with D'addario EXL110 (10-46) strings.
