This is a 1982 Fender Stratocaster Elite from Fender Japan’s first year. The original owner bought it when it came out, and saved all of the case candy. I have the booklet, an article about Fender Japan, the keychain from the dealer, the strap and strap locks that came with it, etc. It’s like a time capsule. the owner didn’t really play, so the guitar is in excellent shape. No dents, scratches or chips. The neck is the best I’ve played and the figuring is gorgeous. The only reason I’m selling it because these aren’t the pickups I want, but I don’t want to ruin this guitar by gutting it. It has selectable buttons for all 3 pickups and a dummy coil hidden that kills the 60 cycle hum. If you’ve ever wanted one of these, this is the one.
