Up for sale is a vintage Zildjian 17" K Dark Crash from the highly regarded Intermediate American K (IAK) era (circa 1988-1993).This is a rare early-variant IAK featuring the large top K logo without the 'circle R' registration mark, and it is completely pre-serial number (no laser etching).
Specs & Condition:
- Weight: 1151 grams (beautifully thin, fast, and buttery)
- Sound: Low-pitched, dark, smoky, with an immediate explosive wash and quick decay. Perfect for jazz, studio work, or indie rock.
- Condition: Excellent player's condition. No cracks, no keyholing, and no flea bites. Edges are smooth. The original ink logos have barely faded, and the stamped metal trademark is crisp and clear. Naturally aged patina—never cleaned or polished to preserve the vintage tone.
