The body has a polyester finish with 1 blemish to note which is tiny, barely noticeable, under the clear, and smooth to the touch, and a chip by the output jack, both noted in the pics.

Overall an excellent classic style finish on a solid ash body, just add your neck, electronics, and some strings.
