The Boss FBM-1 Fender '59 Bassman Pedal uses COSM (Composite Object Sound Modeling) technology to capture the sound of the iconic 1959 Fender Bassman amplifier and reproduce it in pedal format. This was a genuine collaboration between Boss and Fender — not a generic clone, but a licensed and developed amp simulator built with input from the amp's actual manufacturer. Features include the same controls found on the original Bassman: Presence, Treble, Mid, and Bass EQ, replicated on the pedal using stacked concentric pots to fit the full original control set into a compact pedal enclosure.

Normal and Bright inputs are included, with the Bright input providing a tone closer to the original Bassman's character, and the Gain knob takes you from sparkling clean to fat and crunchy — the tones that helped spark the rock and roll revolution in the first place. The FBM-1 also functions well as a pre-gain pedal placed before an already overdriven amp, adding the Bassman's tonal character to whatever amplifier you're running into. Players who run it as an always-on EQ and boost pedal — particularly with single-coil guitars into blackface-style Fender amps — report consistently good results. Tweed-colored housing with brown and silver faceplate, matching the visual identity of the amp it emulates. Very good condition.
