Amazing playing and feeling instrument. All Gretsch should feel like this. But they don't. Not even close.
The neck is just so comfy on this one. Has that old friend sorta feel.
It's not overly relic'ed. In fact, looks to be more closet classic than relic. A few nicks and scuffs here or there...but nothing crazy or any rust or that sorta stuff. Vintage white 3 ply pickguard is super cool! Don't know if that's original or not. We got it used.
Crazy comfortable at 7.9 pounds and perfectly balanced.

The mahogany neck with a comfortable stock “C” profile feels familiar and broken-in, paired with a rosewood fingerboard and vintage frets that keep the playing experience true to the era. Aged wide block inlays, red side dots, and subtle relic work throughout reinforce the authentic mid-’50s aesthetic.
At the heart of the tone are a pair of Dynasonic pickups, delivering bold, piano-like lows, glassy highs, and incredible dynamic sensitivity. These pickups are known for their clarity and punch, making every note feel immediate and expressive.
