Fun semi-fretless partscaster build loosely based on the Brent Mason HHH with B bender. Left three frets for cowboy chords.
Filtertron style neck pickup, quad rail buried under the middle, rail humbucker with engraved cover for the bridge.
Middle potentiometer blends in the middle pickup, pushing the push-pull down puts it in parallel with itself. Middle position by itself is rather quiet so you can crank the volume to make up for how quiet the fretless parts are, pop it to middle pickup for cowboy chords on the three top frets I did not remove.
I used a mix of random spare parts- the body has a belly carve and a carve near the upper frets and black single binding. Neck is of uncertain provenance, not a real fender neck but it feels great after a level etc
Happy to answer questions, it’s a somewhat barbaric instrument I came up with by myself, really gets some interesting sounds if you can get it to act right.
