Channel the raw energy and unmistakable look of the earliest Telecasters with the Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster Super Heavy Relic in Super Faded Aged Nocaster Blonde. Part of the 2025 Time Machine Collection, this masterpiece is aged to perfection—inside and out—delivering the feel, tone, and visual impact of a true road-worn classic.
This guitar features a two-piece off-center ash body that’s lightweight, resonant, and finished in a thin lacquer for maximum vintage tone. The Super Heavy Relic finish boasts “dirty checking,” deep playwear, and authentic finish fading, perfectly recreating decades of stage use.
The rifle-sawn maple neck is carved to a period-correct 1951 “U” profile (.920" at the 1st fret, .990" at the 12th), with a 7.25"–9.5" compound radius and 21 vintage upgrade frets for classic feel and modern playability. The dark-tint nitro finish, black micarta face dots, and a bone nut complete the vintage-correct look.
Loaded with Hand-Wound ’51 Nocaster pickups and wired to the "51 Mod Nocaster Relic" control set, this guitar offers the snappy, articulate, and dynamic tone that defined early Fender electrics. The relic’d vintage Tele bridge, chrome/nickel hardware, and black single-ply pickguard round out the classic vibe.
