Brand new jazz bass preamp with vintage passive tone control and bass, midrange and treble controls. This has a plate mounted output jack, so NO need for a side mounted bass body output jack. These sound incredible-super low noise and infinite tone shaping possibilities. Also has active/passive toggle switch for use with no battery. This preamp opens up a world of possibilities and offers more tone shaping than most of the preamps on the market. This is a solderless version that allows you to make all the connections with just bare wires to the screw terminals. It runs on either a single 9 volt battery with the prewired battery connector, or can be rewired for any anything in between 9 and 18 volts, so one or two nine volt batteries, or a single miniature 12 volt (size 23A) battery will work. A 23A battery will fit in most cavities if a 9 volt battery is too large. Includes wiring diagram. Please note the glare in the photo of the control panel is from the removable clear protective film on it.
