This 2011 Santa Cruz 1929/000 was built with 90 year-old mahogany, which lends it an “old,” haunting quality! Check out the included demo video.

You don’t come across too many 12-fret all-mahogany guitars these days. Santa Cruz is one of those boutique companies that is always experimenting with body styles and wood combinations, and sometimes the results are fantastic, especially when they replicate lesser-known vintage models (in this case, of course, a 000 from 1929). I love all-mahogany guitars (my wife’s personal guitar is a ‘57 00-17), as I think they offer something unique in the tonal landscape.

This one has belonged to a producer here in Nashville for a number of years. It is all-original and features a full scale length (25.375”), 12-fret body construction, a vintage-style headstock and logo design, and a 1 ¾” nut width. The playability is spot-on. A Baggs Anthem pickup has been added. There is a little surface wear and various minor blemishes and finish scratching, but structurally everything is in top shape.

Asking $4,900 here on Reverb (lower on other forums) plus shipping. Comes with its original Santa Cruz / Ameritage case.
