This one was made in 2010 from Heavily figured Walnut for the back & sides, and clean sitka spruce for the top. The tone is clear and defined, with a powerful amount of volume.
McPherson is well known for their craftsmanship, and this one is stunning. The previous owner enjoyed the guitar, as it shows evidence of regular playing, but no abuse or structural damage. Just mild and honest playing. The finish on McPherson guitar is very thin to provide maximum response. This is a joy to play. I noticed some fret wear on the first few frets, but didnt experience issues from it. Due to the mild condition issues, this guitar is being offered at thousands less than average.
