Here are the details on the Stratocaster: I ordered this in early 2025, and it arrived about a year earlier than quoted, in September.
I have one other Stratocaster, one I bought new in 1983. I was looking for a Strat with a hardtail bridge and a thick neck, since I play a lot of single string notes and arpeggiated chords. But I decided I only need one Strat, and I’m attached to my original guitar.
This is a beautiful guitar; I paid over $5000 for it. This Strat has the large-C profile neck, with rolled fingerboard edges. The neck is roasted, and I paid for a low-weight sort on the body wood. It weighs exactly 7 pounds on my scale.
The Custom Shop traveler sheet is included in the photos so you can see every specification that was ordered.
I have literally not even played this guitar for an hour.
There are a couple of scuff marks on the rear of the lower bout that are due to the case rubbing the nitro finish during shipping. I have circled them in the photograph. Fender assures me they will buff out. When I ship the guitar to its new owner, I will put a piece of soft cloth in this area to avoid any further marks.
