Up for sale is a killer custom "Franken-bass" player's build featuring a Gretsch Electromatic bass neck mated to an unbranded P-Bass style body with a single bridge-position pickup. If you are a touring musician, a frequent gigger, or just need a bulletproof road bass that you don't have to worry about getting scratched up on stage, this is the perfect machine. It has an incredible vibe, plays beautifully, and punches way above its price point.

Functional & Acoustic Status

• Great Player: Don't let the rough exterior fool you—this bass plays and sounds fantastic. The single bridge pickup delivers a punchy, aggressive, and articulate tone that easily cuts through a live band mix.
• Electronics: Fully tested. The single pickup and control knobs function as they should with no scratchy pots or cutting out.

Cosmetic & Structural Condition (Please Read)

This bass is in poor cosmetic condition and has a heavy, organic "relic" character from extensive use.

• The Neck: The neck itself is in good shape, straight, and feels great in the hand. The heavy cosmetic wear is isolated almost entirely to the body.
• The Body: There are finish chips, dings, and battle scars all over the body. It looks like it has stories to tell!
• Neck Joint Alert: There are visible cracks in the body finish/wood right by the bolts where the neck pocket meets the body. While the neck joint currently feels tight and the bass plays great, please review the photos carefully so you know exactly what to expect structurally.

• The Ultimate Road Bass: Because the body is already heavily broken-in, this instrument is absolutely ideal for throw-and-go gigs, airline travel, or aggressive live performances where you wouldn't dare bring a pristine luxury instrument.
