Up for sale, a 1983 Roland RE-201 Space Echo vintage analog tape delay in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Fully serviced, this Space Echo features a cleaned and lubricated pinch roller, tape heads, bearings, motor, capstan, and tape path. All pots, switches and jacks have been cleaned and exercised, with calibrated trim pots for Level and Intensity. This Space Echo runs reliably on USA power with the original 100V Japanese transformer (a 120V Mercury Magnetics power transformer can also be installed at the buyer's discretion for an additional charge).
One of the most popular and enduring tape echos of all time, the RE-201 has been used on countless stages and in studios worldwide. Everything runs exactly as it should with a low noise floor and lush, detailed repeats.
The faceplate is well-kept, with pristine silkscreen graphics, mild surface rust on the jack nuts, and all of the original aluminum skirted knobs are intact. The chrome latches and hinges are clean, with relatively little wear on the black tolex.
