The ESP M-III is a superstrat made in Japan. It has 3 pickups hence the M-III model name. The earliest version (in the 1997 ESP catalogue) features an HSS configuration while the latter version has an HSH configuration. As opposed to the 1989 ESP M-III, this guitar has an reversed headstock!
