The Strymon AA1 Level Shifter is a highly compact Eurorack module designed to amplify instrument signals to the modular level. The AA1 Level Shifter is ideal for processing electric-stringed instruments for use with other modules. The module features a 1/4-inch input for use with electric guitar and basses, amplifying the signal by +18dB. The module features two 1/8-inch connectors for outputs. Two modular signals can also be fed to the module via the 1/8-inch connectors, attenuated by -18dB for added flexibility.

The simple yet effective design amplifies guitar and bass signals to the modular level for use with external modules. It is the perfect solution for processing guitars and basses with Eurorack-based filters, effects and even wave shapers. This gives you the ability to optimise your sound design capabilities, giving you a wide range of options when it comes to your electric and bass guitars.
ConnectivityThe ergonomic design features a 1/4-inch socket for connecting your instruments, amplifying the signal by +18dB for use with external modular gear. The processed signal is outputted via the dual 1/8-inch connectors. The flexible design also allows you to use the module the other way around. This can be done by feeding two modular signals to the module via the 1/8-inch connectors, attenuated by -18dB and outputted via the dual 1/4-inch sockets. The compact design is only 4HP wide, measuring at 3U, it is also compatible with skiff cases for added flexibility.
