Playability & HardwareThe 25.5" scale neck tapers from 0.787" at the first fret to 0.866" at the twelfth, providing a fast, comfortable feel across all ranges. 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 14" fretboard radius give you aggressive bite and define without sacrificing smooth bends, while the Floyd Rose Special 'Hot Rod' Locking Tremolo with Floyd Rose Special nut ensures pitch stability even under heavy use. The 2-Way Adjustable truss rod with heel access allows straightforward neck relief adjustments.
Tone & ElectronicsThe bridge position features an EMG Retro Active Hot 70 for high-output aggression, while the neck houses a Sustainiac® pickup with separate on-off and mode switching for infinite sustain effects. The electronics include dedicated Volume/Volume/3-Way Pickup Switch controls plus 2-Way On-Off Sustainiac Switch and 3-Way Sustainiac Mode Switch (Fundamental-Mix-Harmonic), all powered by a Double 9-volt Clip-in Battery Compartment. Metal knurled knobs with set screws provide secure adjustment in performance conditions.
