My lovely, sweet and beautiful wife bought me this Plinky for Christmas and I supplemented it with the 2hp expander, which is an absolute must if you want to rack this and still have access to polyphony and midi. Unfortunately, I didn't vibe with like I'd hoped and I decided I want something that takes up less space in my rack. My loss, your gain, etc.
This unit was bought secondhand and was likely a DIY kit, as I had to fix an unsoldered header pin. It's fully functional, however the second shift pad seems to respond best when touched off center and slightly the the right. I have no idea if that is typical behavior. 🤷
