The Boss CE-2W Waza Craft Chorus is a premium, all-analog guitar effects pedal that recreates the iconic sounds of Boss's original CE-1 (1976) and CE-2 (1979) chorus pedals. Handmade in Japan, it utilizes analog bucket brigade delay (BBD) circuitry to deliver warm, vintage modulation with modern enhancements like stereo output and variable depth control.
The pedal features three distinct modes selectable via a switch:
- Standard Mode: Faithfully reproduces the classic mono CE-2 chorus sound, expanded with stereo output for wider soundstages.
- CE-1 Chorus Mode: Recreates the lush, spacious stereo chorus of the world's first chorus pedal, now with adjustable depth.
- CE-1 Vibrato Mode: Offers the original CE-1's vibrato effect, capable of ranging from subtle pitch wavering to metallic rotary-speaker-like textures.
Key specifications include buffered bypass, 25 mA current draw.
